AAS in Registered Nursing

Registered Nursing (RN) is one of the most popular careers in healthcare, and it's no wonder why. With a wide range of exciting responsibilities and a skyrocketing demand for RNs, registered nursing is a smart option if you are considering a medical career.

RNs write and manage patient care plans, observe, assess, and record patients' symptoms, provide assistance to physicians and other health care providers during examinations and treatments, and administer medications.

As a student in the the registered nursing program, you will study in a fully-equipped hospital laboratory setting which includes a sophisticated patient simulator featuring sophisticated vital signs such as respirations and pulse. You will also gain hands-on experience during rotations at local hospitals.

Registered nursing is projected to be among the 10 top occupations in the United States to have the largest employment growth of new jobs, with demand for nurses outnumbering their supply since 2010.
